Call us right away at (530) 265-3722 during our regular hours. If you can, call before arriving so we can prepare for your pet and offer immediate guidance.

Yes. If your pet needs to be seen sooner than the next available appointment, please call. We’ll do our best to fit your pet in between scheduled visits, and our client care team will let you know what the wait time may look like.

They have 24 hour staff on site for continuous monitoring and emergency care.

Nevada County does not currently have a 24 hour veterinary hospital. Pets that are sick enough to need after hours care should not be left alone overnight, and Loomis Basin can provide the continuous monitoring and medical support they may need.
Dr. Murphy is often at the clinic after hours and is happy to answer questions or provide urgent care when possible. If staff members are in the building, the phone will be answered.
