Types of Surgical Procedures We Offer
We understand that surgery can cause anxiety for pet owners, which is why we prioritize patient safety and comfort. From check-in to pick-up, you can rest assured your furry pal is in good hands.
Spay and Neuter
Spaying and neutering are essential procedures for preventing unwanted pregnancies and promoting long-term pet health. While spaying and neutering are elective procedures, we recommend that all pet owners strongly consider them to reduce the risks of reproductive cancers and undesirable hormone-driven behaviors. The timing for a spay or neuter procedure depends on your pet’s gender, species, age, and expected adult size—ask our veterinary team for details.
Please note: At this time we are not accepting dog spays over 50lbs.

Laparoscopic spay
A laparoscopic spay offers a minimally invasive alternative to traditional spay surgery. This advanced technique uses small incisions, a camera, and specialized instruments to remove a female pet’s ovaries while leaving the uterus intact. The benefits of laparoscopic spay surgery include faster healing, reduced pain, and fewer complications. For patients who may benefit from this approach, we partner with trusted specialty clinics that offer laparoscopic spay services to ensure the highest level of care for your pet.

Soft tissue surgery
Our veterinary surgeons can perform a wide range of soft tissue surgeries, which are procedures performed on the skin, muscles, or organs. Surgeries in our facility range in complexity from minor mass removals to emergency abdominal procedures. Our hospital uses modern surgical techniques, advanced monitoring equipment, and qualified team members to ensure pet safety and comfort at all times.

Orthopedic surgery
Our hospital is proud to offer specialized orthopedic procedures to reduce pain and restore function in pets with orthopedic injuries or diseases. We work with board certified surgeons that have advanced training and extensive experience performing complex orthopedic procedures, reducing complications, and developing comprehensive post-operative rehabilitation programs. Our advanced surgical facilities, equipment, and training allow us to provide exceptional orthopedic care in a primary care setting.

Non-invasive surgery
Endoscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that allows veterinarians to examine internal structures without the need for a traditional surgical incision. An endoscope is a rigid or flexible tube equipped with a fiber optic camera and specialized instruments to visualize and manipulate tissues. While endoscopy requires general anesthesia, it can significantly reduce recovery times and complications compared to traditional surgery. We coordinate endoscopy procedures through trusted referral partners when this diagnostic approach is recommended.

Laser surgery
Laser surgery uses advanced technology in place of a traditional scalpel to minimize bleeding and reduce post-operative discomfort. The laser cuts and coagulates tissue simultaneously, which can improve surgical precision and reduce anesthetic time and complication rates. When laser surgery is the best option for a patient, we work closely with partner clinics that provide this specialized surgical service.
